About the Circus Firemen
The Circus Firemen perform a 60-90 minute show comprising acrobatics, fire juggling and precarious balance on ladders suitable for festivals and outdoor events.
Angus and Matilda also perform various stage acts suitable for cabarets, indoor functions and comedy clubs that can be tailored for any event.
Josh and Idris have been performing together for over 8 years starting in community theatre and moving into professional corporate entertainment. The Circus Firemen have performed at numerous festivals including: Woodford Folk Festival, Auckland International Buskers Festival, Apollo Bay Music Festival and the St Kilda Street Festival. They are currently based in Melbourne

Matilda - Idris Stanton
Idris, before becoming a circus fireman, studied theatre/performance at the University of Wollongong and then circus at CircoArts, NZ. He has a bachelor of circus arts from the National Institute of Circus Arts. Idris has been performing as an actor and clown for over 10 years.
Angus - Joshua Phillips
Joshua completed a diploma of circus arts in New Zealand in 2007. He has also studied at the Australian National University School of Art and trained at the National Institute of Circus Arts. He has numerous and various stage credits for circus, theatre and cabaret.
